I've already told my hubby that nothing is going to stop me from watching the hearings, with the exception of 1 of the 10am days where I have a meeting I can't get out of.

I am so hoping that these hearings will ramp up actions for justice and accountability. I can barely remember the Watergate hearings since I was only 9 yrs old. My family didn't really ever follow politics. I *can* remember thinking they seemed to go on forever and I'm really concerned that these 6 sessions will seem more like a mini-series with little meaningful impact and little actual punishment for those involved at the upper levels driving the attempted coup and insurrection.

Am anxious for tonight and am not accomplishing much at work today Got my popcorn ready and made sure I took my BP meds.

Not very obvious, but always just below the surface.

A lot rides on this presentation tonight. There is so much that can go wrong or be spun to make it seem like it did. I’m confident that Raskin, Schiff, and Cheney have done the best job that anyone could do. But expectations are so high that we could be disappointed.

80% have already decided one way or another. The remaining 20% aren't politically engaged enough to watch, and will get a summary in their newspaper or TV news.
