Besides uncovering the truth? Will there be any arrests?

5. They can't make arrests...

They can only turn over their findings and evidence to DoJ, and see if they do anything with it.

In fairness, it may well be that Garland and his department have been waiting for these hearings before taking action on his own which might short-circuit them.
