Shouldn't trump's inaction, despite repeated urgings by staffers...

and even FOX people, constitute a crime...his inaction during the Capitol siege in not making a call to anyone to stop the insurrection certainly seems like dereliction of duty and thus a crime?

He didn't call the DOJ, the FBI, the Nat'l Guard, DHS, the Secret Service...no one. He called no one in violation of his oath of office. He sat watching it on TV and undoubtedly reveled in it and hoped for its success. That, and all his post-election conspiracy planning in Nov. and Dec. 2020, and calls to supporters to come to DC on J6 has to constitute criminal activity somewhere in all of that.

For dereliction of duty on the part of the commander in chief, as he then was. But I don't know military law.
