The only person that can do anything about Trump is Merritt Garland. walkingman Jun 2022 #5
Merick Garland is the Attorney General. onecaliberal Jun 2022 #7
Correct - he is could bring criminal charges against Trump. The committee can not. walkingman Jun 2022 #14

I think he would run though, and play the dictator in exile bullshit.

He creates a fantasy world around him with the help of right wing media that he wouldn't know the truth if it hits him on his head.

All his life for being rich. How you see all these pretty women date him over the years and you know they are probably revolted by his touch.

He got away with so many things during his presidency and 2 impeachments he thinks democrats are weak and congress is a joke with no power and he has the supremes.

He cheated as he always has to get most everything and while he will whine and fuss he thinks his power and money will save him.

His ego would allow a face-saving deal, if it came to that. His ego would demand he control the narrative and his mouth would try to shape the narrative regardless, only to expose Trump even more.

Don't know if he'll run again or not. I'm sure he is entertaining the thought - the fantasy of a return to punish his enemies.

I hope he is not allowed to run again by some means.

He can't run anywhere without the SS reporting it. He can try to ditch them, but the DOJ will know immediately. We should be completely shocked if there haven't been sealed indictments on Trump awaiting the right time to release them. If Trump tries to flee, the seals are ripped off and Trump is a hunted man.

…he’ll run for president again, with 90% of the Republican establishment backing him once more — and, having seen the blueprint on January 6th, will likely be in a better position to make it work this time around.

He'll claim even more he and his followers are the victims, use this to fleece his followers of more money, then start suggesting threats using his followers to carry them out, and revenge to those who talked to the committee.

Then he'll work harder trying to set up ways to undermine the mid terms so he can use the House to create more chaos with it. He'll be making more outlandish accusation, and claims the Dems are the ones who are corrupt, and the few republicans opposing him. They'll buy off a polling company to produce results he wants, then promote it. He'll call them to arms, again . He's not even close to being done yet, and has likely already been working to corrupt the Supreme Court conservative justices.

Until he's in jail, he's a national security threat.

and, he may be. He will have a "pocket pardon" and will rely on "his" Supreme Court to uphold it. Expect more of the same for Trump; he is nothing if not predictable.

I’d jump on the only 76 he’ll ever achieve - his birthday on Tuesday.
His failed coup was no 1776.
