Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 20th season Friday, June 10 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 11:30 p.m., exclusively on HBO.

This week features a one-on-one interview with Dr. Cornel West, Dietrich Bonhoeffer Professor of Philosophy and Christian Practice at Union Theological Seminary in New York City and a contributor to The Guardian, where he recently wrote that White supremacy is as American as apple pie, in response to the racist killing of 10 people in Buffalo, NY.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Kellyanne Conway, former Senior Counselor to TFG and author of the New York Times bestselling book, Here's the Deal: A Memoir; and Josh Barro, host of the weekly podcast Very Serious and blogger for Very Serious on Substack.

He showed sympathy to Ashli’s Babbitt on his first show following the insurrection.

He also trashed Build Back Better on Joe Rogan’s show. He also went on Ben Shapiro’s show to bash the left. He often appears in Fox News articles.

You know what Maher has also done? Gave a million dollars to Obama's reelection and a million dollars to the Democrats in the last mid-term. Very right wing. Long time ago? A couple of weeks ago he spent an entire segment ripping the repubs. You think he's going to support Kellyanne? He'll make fun of her for her lunacy. He's stupidly engaged in a feud with the woke so of course they have to smear him in anyway possible, even if their smears are false.

His haters have been trying to cancel him for years. You know that. HBO hasn't gone along. trump wasn't able to complete a coup. So by your reasoning, there was no coup attempt. You tried with Fox News articles but every time I do a search for Bill Maher Fox News articles come up.

I stopped watching over a decade ago, he was much better during Bush but was an Islamaphobe. He stopped focusing solely on them onto other targets like trans kids recently.

The whole idea of “cancel” came from a misogynistic joke from New Jack City. Black Twitter uses a line from a movie to say this or that person is canceled usually because they are racist or something like that. Right wingers on others take what is said on Black Twitter too seriously and weaponize into some sort of terrible cultural problem. It is like the AAVE word “woke” which is now used by the right wing as a dog whistle which Bill Maher of course also does.

Maher lost his job under the Bush administration and Trump is the one who sued him over a joke.

As far as the far right like I said he showed sympathy to Ashlii Babbitt and downplayed the insurrection.
