His testimony was better than I hoped. It was damming. Trump and his inner circle knew the election was not stolen. They have no defense, they are guilty. Game over people.
Trump and his inner circle better call their lawyers and make plea deals. They are going to be indicted.
When Barr and others told Trump and people in his inner circle the election was not stolen, that should stopped them in their tracks. It didn't, which proves they are out of their minds. It's like they were told they were driving towards a cliff and they hit the gas.

(5,840 posts)The sheer volume of people who told him the truth about his loss, told him what he was doing is illegal, and either jumped ship or threatened to jump ship because of his actions.
People have previously argued that if the orange motherfucker really is delusional and really thought he won, how can you prove he had criminal intent. That's all shot to hell now in the face of so much evidence of so many people telling him every which way that he lost, there's no plausible deniability now. The defense that he's delusional and proceeded based on delusions holds no weight now.

(32,633 posts)Never. He never listens to anyone unless they're telling him what he wants to hear.
He refused to listen to Bill Barr, and Barr had no choice but to resign.
That's what saved his sorry ass.

(32,633 posts)Chump always intended to steal the presidency from Biden. He knew that he was going to lose as soon as Biden became the Dem candidate. And the polls - the honest ones - told Chump exactly that, he was going to lose.

(32,633 posts)I have Bill Barr's book and I plan to read it as soon as I finish "This Will Not Pass."
All these great books have come out in the last 6 months or so, it's really hard to keep up. If I didn't spend so much time on DU, I'd have more time to read these books.

Trump never "knows" anything; he feels. Facts are irrelevant. Only his ego exists.
