with the gas model it didn't make sense. The hybrid was about $2000 more and the state of
Ohio charges an extra $100 per year registration fee? That would buy a lot of gas. I know at this time
when gas prices are (temporally I hope) really high it may pay but at that time it didn't. The extra
registration fee is not fair. If I bought a car with a gas engine and got 35 MPG I don't have to pay the fee.
But if I would buy a hybrid that gets 35 MPG I have to pay extra.

That gives me about 250 miles of driving. My wife's car gets about 25mpg, so 10 gallons of gas will give me the same range.

At $5-6 per gallon, every mile in the gas car is 5-6 times more expensive.

No wonder there are waiting lists for most EVs these days.
