Will the J6 Committee make a criminal referral to the DOJ for DJT?

I suspect they will.

It's difficult to see how the DOJ would ignore such a referral.

How will the DOJ handle it if they get it?

My hunch would be that they would take the referral from the Committee with the promise to investigate the matter further and to subpoena more witnesses?

Someone once said that the wheels of justice turn very slowly but grind exceedingly fine.

No one would expect them to finish before this November elections. Could they finish their investigation by 2024 General Election?

But there has been nothing preventing the DOJ from doing this all on their own.

They've been doing a good job of it so far.

I think some of the charges may have already been delineated by Liz Cheney?

country nothing will be done to Trump. Can you imagine the riots Trump will instigate if he
is arrested. That is the reason they say Ford pardoned Nixon. That is the reason Gore conceded
the election to "W". I heard Claire Mccaskil make that statement a couple days ago on MJ. Chuck Rosenberg
mentioned that too this morning.

I don't think they should worry too much about the "riots" imagined by Trump and his followers. Just have the FBI close by.

This will all end in a whimper instead of a bang. Elections have consequences.

Congress is a legislative branch of government. If DOJ has not been investigating the coup plotters we are screwed.

God bless the select committee, with the limited resources they have, compared with DOJ, they uncovered a boat load of evidence that warrants indictments.

The best that can come from these hearings is that Merrick Garland is watching them.
