every day this week, leading or mentioning it every hour. By now, it's not news. But it is a terrific weapon against the Biden administration, especially for the dumb and easily misled.
As I keep saying-economics as a weapon. The people willing to ruin our country don't give a damn who gets ruined in the process. Oil companies closed old refineries and didn't replace them, perfect timing to gouge every last penny from people going back to 'normal' and wanting to travel, shop, and other activities. All the other supply chain problems, delivery slowdowns, production lags, are great weapons in the war against Democratic policies. Look what happened to Jimmy Carter.
My personal solution is to buy nothing I don't need, don't drive unless I have to. I read an economic report yesterday which discussed Demand Destruction which states it has already started. Where the price is so high for a product, people refuse to buy it.

(12,436 posts)It's the #1 topic at American dinner tables and the water cooler.
You might want it to go away... but it's not.

(16,935 posts)and the reports on CBS are not adding anything new, or offering solutions. The reader just gleefully reports the cost of gas and the price of groceries every hour on the hour. I listen to that station because if plays oldies, but it is tiresome to hear the same news report.

(12,436 posts)I wouldn't expect them to talk about it like this every day.
But I mean this is the worst it's been in 40+ years... it's worthy of discussion.

(31,008 posts)They dont have to deal with any victims or anarchist or really dig for any facts. They just have to show pictures of gas price signs, fills the space quite easily with no controversy. Sorry Im getting cynical about the news coverage these days
