(17,889 posts)Is it the one I'm thinking about that Spielberg directed and Jude Law is a robot prostitute? I thought it was an interesting way to tell a story. Of course, by the end he reached a point that he didn't what to do with it anymore, so it didn't really balance, but in end I enjoyed the ride.

(25,725 posts)Sadly while it was SyFy I don't think it was too far removed from reality. It's only a few years from now but the environment will be going crazy and artificial intelligence will start taking over. Yippee

(11,441 posts)old programmers' saying. Every few years, someone (often in marketing) comes up with a new campaign to push AI - usually under a new name (Knowledge Engineering is one II recall). The technology is getting better, but it's still limited and constrained.
But it brings in the investor bucks.
