A Tale of Two Cops

Capitol Police Officer Caroline Edwards came to our attention as a hero. Attacked while defending the US Capitol, she was injured, knocked to the ground, got back up, fought, knocked down again, suffered a head injury, got up AGAIN to fight more. She is the embodiment of dedication and, yes, heroism.

Then we have Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Chief Pete Arredondo. On the day a school was shot up and 19 of the people HE was sworn to protect were murdered, he has made an incredible string of excuses for his COWARDICE. He is a disgrace to police officers everywhere.

I'm not sure what, if anything to make of this comparison. But as these two people were in the news, both cops, the contrast is striking.
