I think we're going to be seeing a lot of fancy footwork in the weeks to come, as Republicans try to walk back past statements and actions.

I expect we'll be hearing phrases like "I was taken out of context", "that remark was totally misinterpreted", and "yes, I said that - but what I really meant was this ..."

Think about how stupid the average person is, then realize that half are more stupid than that. It pretty much explains the existence of the Republican Party. There are that many people just that stupid.
