I think the hearings are pushing us towards a very important breaking point.

Some people are going to realize they are screwed and they are going to start talking, making deals to save themselves. Once that happens it will snowball. The rats are going to turn on each other.

They have no incentive to work with the house unless they are subpoenad.

They won't volunteer anything.

Now if the fbi asks them to answer questions, that would be different.

But so far aides are not volunteering that the fbi has questioned them. And that would surely leak if was widespread.

All indications are the doj is sitting idle for whatever reason.

If you're called to answer questions for them, you retain your Miranda rights to remain silent.

As for talking vs not, put yourself in the MAGAt shoes (I know, I know, but bear with me here). If you were called, and if you cooperated with the FBI or a grand jury, would you admit it?

Think about the reaction you'd get from the looniest of the GQP thugs. Really think about the reaction you'd get from the kind of sick monsters who send death threats to the parents of slain children at Sandy Hook.

If I were a GQPer who cooperated with any part of the DOJ about J6, I wouldn't say a damned word about it.

My life could very well depend on it.

Who is gonna melt first?

Once the committee names the pardon-seekers, keep an eye on who hires lawyers the fastest.

depositions and it looks the same will be on for tomorrow, it makes it more and more difficult for them to say it is a democratic witch hunt.
