3 things:

1; New Study Shows no safety Benefit for Guns in the Home

There is no difference in stranger homicides in homes with guns vs homes without.
The likelihood of a woman being shot in a home with a gun is 2x that of a home without.

2; Advertising by gun makers and organizations:

3; Federal truth in advertising
The federal Lanham Act allows civil lawsuits for false advertising that “misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities, or geographic origin” of goods or services. 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a). The FTC also enforces false advertising laws on behalf of consumers.Oct 18, 2021

When do we start suing the gun industry and it's supporters for false advertising?

All those avoidable deaths and injuries that are ignored or minimized, and put down as just a "tragic accident", (as though they were UNavoidable)... People accept this excuse far too often. Dismissing it as a "tragic accident" is the equivalent of believing "thoughts and prayers" are the solution to gun violence.

Those horrific deaths are NOT "tragic accidents" but foreseeable outcomes.

Something else. All too often when a child kills him or herself or a sibling with a gun, the parents are not prosecuted because "They've suffered enough already." NO. They should be made examples and sent to prison for a very long time, lose any remaining children they have, and perhaps be required to do community service speaking to groups on such topics as "Why it's a good idea to keep guns secure."

Many toddlers shoot themselves in the chest or face because they use their thumb to pull the trigger because they are too little to have the strength in the fingers.

Law schools can't crank them out fast enough to keep up with the rate we'll suing for wrongful deaths and all the other loss, harm and damage that manufacturers of assault and automatic weapons inflict on society by the tools' very purpose.

Your little girl doesn’t need a Barbie doll, she needs a girl especially made for her. This is just so wrong that the NRA markets guns for young children.

Oh, and who remembers "Alfred Hitchcock Presents"... we warned you!
Alfred Hitchcock Presents: "Bang! You're Dead"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0508131/

Rick Sheffield visits his brother and sister-in-law after a lengthy absence living in Africa. His nephew Jackie unpacks his suitcase and finds a revolver. Jackie and his friends are always playing with their toy guns and Jackie goes around town, pointing the gun and pulling the trigger, oblivious to the fact that there is a live round in the chamber. When his parents and uncle realize he has the gun, they set off on a frantic search but not before he fires at someone.
