One thing magats don't "get" is that regardless of what they're taught regarding "authority" to commit crimes, they are still crimes and officials are obligated to prosecute them.

History says that for this to break down, law enforcement would have to abandon the law, and so would the military, for example, the National Guard, or the armed forces being turned against citizens. And that basically means a dictatorship.
