Same thing happened with the Watergate hearings - they were broadcast during daytime business hours by the three major networks, then PBS replayed them in the evening.

That’s 7am here on the West Coast. Only hard cores will see and hear, not the general public.
I just hope there are LOTS of video clips and commentary all over everywhere, at all hours an in writing and on the radio, to compensate.

I hope it’s inescapable.

And as for Ivanka, it looks like that deer-in-the-headlights look comes from another recent visit to her plastic surgeon. They don’t smile much after they’ve done that. And they have to be careful frowning or any other facial expressions or risk of crows’ feet or laugh lines while they’re healing.

That’s what she makes me think of. I covered Hollywood for most of my career. I saw more “work done” at big events and celebrity this-and-thats than anyone could shake a makeup brush at.

The teenage girl years of “like” with my daughter’s friends. Thank god it did not stick with her, but my niece used “like” more than my fellow sailers used “F**kin” as an affective to everything.

My English teachers frequently commented on two things: cursing and using extraneous words. Cursing shows a lack of imagination for communicating one’s feelings in more effective words, while using extraneous words shows a lack of command of your language. I had some tough English teachers, most of whom loved diagramming. My first college English teacher diagramming a step further to parsing for sentence structure and meaning with diagramming as a tool. Yikes!

and eventually had each of us at the blackboard diagramming them as well. I give her a lot of credit for the Verbal scores on my SATs, lo those many years ago. Bless her. Thank you to all of the English teachers out there who take the time to teach how to diagram a sentence. It makes a huge difference in learning how language works.

He just said that the "wild claim" of non-citizens voting was based on the truth of perfectly legal citizens casting ballots from overseas. THEY KNEW. DRUMPF KNEW that "illegal voters" WAS NOT TRUE.

He comes off credible by presenting cherry picked facts with heavy parsing of words that bob and weave around the fact that he was as complicit as Trump and the fact that he resigned before the shit hit the fan changes NOTHING.

I hope they prosecute him.

I remember the claims that ballots were being rolled into the counting center. they had a picture of the cart. and WXYZ, our local ABC affiliate, was on the air going, uh, no, that is our camera crew!!! LOL so crazy
