Chef Andres will finally open his restaurant in the Old Post Office building

People of DC big news! Today after a dream of 30 years I’m announcing we will open @bazaarbyjose in the Old Post Office! Building longer tables in the heart of our nation’s capital, welcoming people from across the city & the world🙏 I’ll share more soon.. @WaldorfAstoria @cgi_mg

It is a familiar sight to me, but I have never been inside.

The band never booked that venue. I suspect that was on purpose.

so much better without Trump's name on that beautiful old building

And Chef Andres is of course such a great dude. He was serving meals to the hungry out of Nats Stadium during COVID and sold groceries for pickup at his restaurant at reasonable prices in the beginning of the pandemic. He leveraged his business purchasing power when supplies were low at normal grocery stores.

So glad that lovely building is no longer scarred with tfg's name. All the best to Chef Andres. I would love to go see the Old Post Office in person some day and dine in his restaurant.
