Yes, Bill Barr is 1000% doing this for one reason alone: To save his fat ass.

That being said, I'm happy to accept every single word he offers.

This is the John Bolton testimony we never got in the First Impeachment. A thoroughly unlikeable soul who, acting solely out of self-interest, tells the truth to avoid being the fall guy.

He's only loyal to himself. It's also worth asking why he wanted into that administration in the first place.

What was it that he saw as an opportunity not to be passed up that prompted him to advertise for the job and get it with no trouble?

It was inevitable that Epstein and that crooked prosecutor in FL were going to be exposed and a lot of rich and famous people would have been exposed, including Barr and his dad who facilitated Epstein's criminal career. He's got things to hide and this is his ticket to dying at home with his dignity in tact. Fucker.

So selling out the biggest pain in his ass ever was a no brainer for Bill, and for no exposure with regard to the whole other thing as the "price" to pay, pffft, it's probably his pleasure to do it.

i don't know how he garners any respect from anyone. same with condoleeza rice, richard nixon, dick cheney, kissinger. reagan!

grrrrr

it's good that he's spilling now though, if only that enough republicans who do respect him stop and think and realize what happened. An attempted coup, the overthrow of our democracy? It's BIG, but it did happen. We should all know that and it's so damaging and depressing that so many people do not. I really, really hope these hearings inspire some people to pull the plank out of their eyes.

He does all these things to keep Trump from being impeached and goes along with everything until he realized he personally could go to jail then he goes to Trump after over a month of not seeing or talking to him and says you lost basically get over it and repeating that over the next month until he quit.

work as though he were part of a campaign?

2). Barr is keeping up the appearance that Trump REALLY believed there was fraud rather than the truth which is that Trump was looking for a narrative to SELL to the public. This may be a key defensive strategy for Trump down the road...and we all know that Barr's life's work is in support of a unitary, authoritative president. Barr has said he would vote for him again.

In support of the Committee's narrative, the Committee could easily get into Trump's history as a con man, cheat, and liar. Always has been. Would help their case that this is just another grift, this time for money and ego-stroking but also for power and self-preservation.

Trump's whole life is selling BS

twist the testimony of so many people who told him that he lost to claim that he really did believe that he had won. That's why everyone had to tell him so many times that he did not win.

Don't think that it will work, but I would expect him to try that angle.

Only matters to who see’s this presentation, but it sure makes Fux News look like the most lying media asshole ever lived in this country. Maybe someday in the future the names Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham will be as toxic as Adolf. And their families slide around in dark corners in disgusting Shame everywhere they go. Barron needs to run like hell from his name as well as all Jr’s spawn from his wife he shat on. I would bet that may already be a thing.

Barr: No he REALLY sucks!

Yep, 1000% covering for the Republican Party hierarchy, not to be confused with pandering rank and file and the trump sockpuppets. The hierarchy had to choke back the gag reflux and hope the clown didn't do too much damage if that's what they had to do to win an election, Jeff Sessions couldn't rise to the occasion so enter Bill Barr to save the party from itself. Barr couldn't stop the damage, the yay hoos could not be controlled. Trump's most highly successful grift, snatched from him. A mighty wounded bore. All Barr can do is stick a fork in it.
