1. Cartoon of 'Homicidal Maniac with gun / without gun' seems a little off - message

3. How so?

I see it as comparing him to middle eastern suicide bombers. These mass shooters are essentially domestic terrorists but they're never portrayed as such by the media.

I was just thinking that it was pointing out the NRA's argument, about killers finding another way to kill.

7. I've been looking at other cartoons by Rivers, and now I'm thinking I was right the first time.

10. Yes, it struck me the same way.

Like, "If you ban guns, people will just strap explosives on themselves to kill masses of people." This is of course nonsense because I don't think the likes of Kyle Rittenhouse would blow themselves up for the sake of taking a few people with them, because how would they be able to celebrate and flaunt their celebrity for legally killing people who were no physical threat to him?

8. The "Imported Bottled Water" toon hits the spot, so to speak.

SoCal has been home port for all my 74 years. California water madness is beyond belief. Massive lawns, golf courses, know water-sucking crops over water-conserving crops for higher profits. Still no on desalination even though near sight, renewable energy technology is available now, limited water capture basins hoa regulations against indigenous plants and food gardens in favor of lawns and exotic plants. Please add to my list
