The anti-LGBTQ right is going to get people killed

On Saturday, 31 people affiliated with Patriot Front, a right-wing white nationalist group, were arrested en route to an LGBTQ Pride event in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The organization had apparently planned to crash Coeur d’Alene’s annual “Pride in the Park” event, a family-friendly LGBTQ get-together put on by the North Idaho Pride Alliance.

Among the arrested and charged with conspiracy to riot was its founder, Thomas Rousseau. Patriot Front is a rebranded offshoot of Vanguard America, a neo-fascist organization best known for its involvement in 2017’s deadly “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.1

Now, you may wonder why a right-wing, white supremacist militia group with a history of violence was planning to turn a small Idaho Pride event into a riot, driving across state lines and packing dozens of themselves into a U-Haul. Well, I’m going to guess it had at least a little to do with a certain Twitter account that started by sharing videos of liberals being cringy on TikTok but eventually turned into a right-wing harassment and targeting machine: Libs of TikTok.

4. When a man determines that a crime is either patriotic or in support of his religion

he becomes dangerous. White Nationalists are a danger on both counts. We are going to have to make a choice to either get rid of them, or live with them. The types are too far gone to rehabilitate.

They're just working even harder to get more killed. I think their goal is nothing short of getting us all killed.

But this is what I've been saying and shouting and screaming and repeating myself about all year. From Abbutt to DeSatan, from Fux to "Groomers", from draconian bills to hate speech, they have had a single-minded obsession with ruining or ending the lives of LGBTQ's - especially the T's - since the year started.

I honestly think they are so fucking obsessed with spilling our blood and eliminating us that if they were given a choice between "Drumpf returns tomorrow" or "All LGBTQ's will be killed," they'd prefer the latter.

I absolutely think they intended to kill LGBTQ's on Saturday in Idaho. Same way I think the Proud Incels wanted to hurt or kill drag queens in California this weekend.

I absolutely think Abbutt and DeSatan want to get LGBTQ's killed or drive them to suicide. Same with Fux and all the reich-wing hate media.

This is not a culture war anymore, if it ever was. It's now on the verge of violence and murder, and many of us feel like we're fighting for our lives.
