So if Trump is indicted, where do you find a jury to convict him?

If he's finally dragged into a courtroom, how do you seat 12 people who would find him guilty of anything?

How do you seat a jury without at least one or more MAGAs slipping through? And that means a hung jury.

Maybe I'm too cynical, but I really find it hard to believe that the seditious, miserable prick will ever spend a day in jail.

A grand jury AND a trial jury. Let’s not go “tainted” before there are even charges.

The jury finding for a former president is a legitimate topic of discussion.

Americans have been subjected to relentless and ruthless GOP propaganda for decades.

How many of the Jan 6 dependent juries have been tainted? Perhaps because prosecutors know how to do their jobs?

I wish people wouldn’t leap to quick assumptions about how trials will work.

I'll settle for the state cases taking every single thing he has (though it sounds like most of it is debt), and him never, ever being in politics ever again. Oh, and no TV or media outlet could ever hire him for anything.

It is impossible to empanel a jury to judge trump.

And for that reason among many I think Garland et al will opt not to prosecute despite the mountain of evidence against him.

Our best hope is that the motherfucker dies.

know. The evidence is overwhelming. I hear people say that if TFG believed he was right regardless of what everyone around him told him then all the evidence would just be circumstantial. I do believe in the rule of law but it is hard to stomach someone as nasty and evil as TFG continually get away with his constant lies.

I hate to be cynical but I seriously doubt that anything will happen to him. The political class seems to have special privileges different from us normal mortals.

I don't see anything changing and to me it is just a reflection of our screwed up society. I've never lived anywhere but the US so I can't really judge but I've not been that impressed with America for a long time. Maybe because as a liberal person my beliefs have always been in the minority and I suspect it will always be that way.

I've haven't given up but I am realistic - US culture focuses on four principles - fame, fortune, power, and success (whatever that means). To me that creates a constant conflict mainly based upon ENVY. I hope the masses can overcome these seemingly constant problems.

In closing....EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FUCKED UP!

And NO - McConaughey the gun deal is a nothing burger that serves as a political escape route - nothing more.

That would improve the odds of getting 12 people who believe in accountability and justice. I would think a prosecutor would use some of what we're seeing in the hearings, which has been very convincing. 'Intent' seems proven.
