(1,505 posts)in which he calls for all enemies of the bible to be put to death. He especially targets the LGBTQ community. Under the heading "Rules of War," he said that anyone who flouts biblical laws, "If they do not yield - kill all the males."
He is a dangerous, F A R R I G H T wing crack pot. He was a representative from WA (Spokane Valley, which is NOT Spokane) until he was accused of domestic terrorism and chose not to run again in 2020. He claims to be a pastor of Dominionism (a very extreme fundamentalist sect).

(1,505 posts)and screaming, hysterical bible-thumpers and militia types frighten me. It doesn't seem to take much to irritate them. I don't want to live in fear, but it seems like so many people are "in the wrong place at the wrong time" these days.

(578 posts)But leaving them in the back of the truck does have some appeal.
Jamesm9164
(578 posts)First, a rental truck, really - the skit writes itself.
Secondly, and more importantly, reading statements by the law enforcement folks.
I think folks are not paying attention.
When they remark about being amazed about the equipment, armor, weapons, etc they have not been paying attention.
Or, who knows?
Just saying that when one considers such preparation and then a "rental truck".
Wow!

(578 posts)other then, perhaps, presuppositions.
What is your point?
Please do not try to insert religion into this because it is morbid without that,
Jamesm9164
(578 posts)Yes, religion is part of this. But, that is not the focus. The focus should be the increasing violence in this country, and elsewhere, using the cover of religion to attack folks who they do not like for whatever reason. Or, even more increasingly, just being thugs finding some convenient never-ending reason for just being folks who really need a hobby. I just wish they left their hobby and guns in their basement.
