And Barr wasn't the first to use it. Jim Acosta referred to fox as "the bullshit factory" not that long ago. He got a standing ovation in our house.
Remember that we never heard the word "penis" used on national telly until the Clinton impeachment. Never heard "pussy" either before trump and Billy Bush (Well, only if you don't count Mrs. Slocum.) on the bus.

(73,536 posts)I suspect that Lawrence uses even harsher terms to describe Trump while off-camera. I really like his show, and consider him one of the best journalists around.

(7,845 posts)he was enjoying the attention way too much..he wasn't so much "revenging" on Trump as he was disappearing his ugly complicit history...he laughed at his own jokes, threw in a "bullshit" here and there, a congenial good guy hero/victim...and I just knew that smug sonofabitch was doing his damndest to "play" the committee
