Sen. Warnock (D-GA) on O'Donnell show tonight

He doesn't get a lot of media. It's too bad, because he is a genuinely good man. Lawrence O'Donnell had him on the show just now.

It's also sad because he will almost certainly be "defeated" by the tRumphumping MFer the republicons are running. Thanks to "democrat" Joe Manchin. Let me repeat that for the blindered amongst us, because JOE FUCKING MANCHIN refused to back his Democratic President, and the Democratic voter protection laws, siding instead with the likes of Moscow Mitch McConnell, corrupt voter suppression laws the REPUBLICONS in GA passed will ensure no Democrat wins there again.

To be clear, they looked at how Warnock and Ossoff won in 2020, and passed laws to ensure we CAN'T win again. Because of the failure of two Democratic Senators who sided with all of the filthy cheating republicons, we will almost certainly lose two good Democrats in the Senate.

When this is alerted on by my fan club, I'd ask the jury to take note of those facts when considering if this is "bashing" real Democrats. No real Democrat would have opposed either voting law, including the John Lewis Voting act.

Side note - no real Democrat would have blocked Biden's BBB act, either.

1. He certainly can defeat Walker in November.

It’s not certain defeat. And I personally believe that the voter suppression laws will backfire big time on Republicans.

He’s a decent man doing his job well. Besides, he’s from Georgia.

Walker is a crap candidate, lies about everything and is being called out on it, daily. Warnock and Abrams are running on the same ballot and there will be a LOT of support for both candidates. Perhaps you best stick to commentary about your own local races and not try to discourage people here in Georgia.

I hope Warnock wins. Had republicons not passed laws designed to block the actions that put him in office in the first place, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

But they did. Giving a warning reminder is not "discouraging people". Why would you want them to be complacent and overconfident? I don't want a good Democrat replaced by a lousy scumbag republicon.

9. When Kansas is half as progressive as Georgia ...

Then perhaps your comments will be appropriate. Meanwhile, that you *can* say something doesn’t mean you should. You go ahead and get Moran and Marshall out of the Senate, we know very well what is happening here.

I wasn't aware of. Helpful comments. I'll continue to make my comments because often they lead to a discussion that can be learned from. Meanwhile, you go ahead and study Kansas closely. When I moved to Wichita in the 80's, we had a Democratic representative. He was also chair of the Agriculture Committee. Kansas has had Democratic Governors, and an occasional Democratic majority, or at least close enough to stop some of the rightwing crazy. Not anymore.

The reason I suggest studying KS is that rather than brag about the progressiveness of Georgia, you'd better look how other states went from progressive/moderate to fascist. The Dakotas are another example. SD went from the state that sent Maj Leader Tom Daschle to foisting a jackass who shoots 1-lb varmints with an AR-15. Georgia isn't so securely progressive that it can be taken for granted.

then he can win.

Get people registered and then get them to the polls!!!

Walker is immensely unqualified. Just the thought of him voting on SCOTUS appointments to any policy is disgusting. Imagine him voting on a treaty for God’s sake!! Yikes!! He is so stupid that it really would show that America is finished if he wins.

The interview is up on The Late Show's YouTube page. You'll be seeing him elsewhere this week, as he is on tour with his new book.

As for him "almost certainly" being defeated, don't bet on it.

10. I think Senator Warnock has slightly better than a 50% chance to win re-election.

I think Herschel Walker was an unforced error by the Republicans and will be a weaker candidate in the general election than a generic business-friendly Republican.

Walker could still win. It's Georgia, after all. But the more he speaks on television, the worse he'll do.

Warnock should have way more than 50% chance even if his opponent weren't an incoherent dipshit.
