1. We'll see; Thursday (maybe) is Pence's attorney's day.

I don't think we will even receive the names of those elected officials.

These hearings are simply to repackage everything already publicly known into a cohesive narrative and timeline, ala a prosecutor presenting a case. Nothing more, nothing less.

DoJ can then pick up the ball, or more likely, not do anything because they will not want to risk destroying the executive branch or the country by arresting and prosecuting a former president, especially one who seems to be running for office again.

The hearings may make for a sensible case for those of us who can differentiate between right and wrong and want everyone treated equally under the law. That's not what DoJ does, though.
