Merrick Garland met with a Senate committee. He met to report that DOJ was going after people who threaten school board members and election officials. Did anyone watch that hearing? Every GQP Senator when his/her turn came jumped all over Garland for suppressing freedom of speech. By the end of the hearing Garland was practically apologizing. Garland backtracked by saying that DOJ was only going to work with local law enforcement to curb violence against school board members and election workers.

Not sure how successful the implementation of stopping the violence has been?
