Rice is the Republican incumbent; he voted to impeach Trump.

Fry is the challenger and he has been endorsed by Trump.

It's open primaries in South Carolina, so Democrats can vote in the Republican Primary if they so choose, but then it excludes them from voting in the Democratic Primary...
