Very compassionate man.

You can see the despair in this woman's face and even tho she is a stranger to him, he's opened himself up to her- threatening his own safety, and gave her a shoulder to cry on.

No, I could never imagine Romney nor Ryan doing this for one of our citizens. Ryan can go stick his brillo pad up his ass.

I have much respect for THIS man.

How great man he really is. If he doesn't get elected next week, i really fear for US...

This is something Romney would never do in a million years - maybe not even two million years.. President Obama have shown a gracefulness that I doubt anyone else could have shown in the current climate...

He is a REAL man, not a empty shell of a man like some others out there...

there's no way Obama could have planned this--nor would he even if it were possible--but this event SHOWS people why we need government. Some things are too big. Too important. Too fundamental.

You can tell people a million facts a millions times, but with the right example, you only have to show them once.

I am very convinced that Mr Obama is the President of the United States and traveled to New Jersey to be with the Governor at a time of a real tragedy called Sandy.

The GOP candidates could not fill his shoes under any circumstance.

This is what real Presidents do for the Country in times like this.

Come November I will vote for the President who deserves another four years.

Thanks Mr President.

NY, NJ and CT really need his help and hard work. And Craig Fugate too. As a Nutmegger, I appreciate it.

I saw pics from my brother tonight about the damage near his house. He lives in Lyme, CT. Old Lyme is on the shore and Lyme is the town after it. Huge trees fell near them and could have hit their house. It was really frightening. He has no power and is using his generator sparingly. Could be 7 to 10 days. A huge tree fell on their power lines.

My cousin on Long Island will be without power for 10 to 15 days. We understand it will take tons of hard work to bring these states back to normal again. But I want this man to stay in office to make it smoother and run well.

Is Obama a decent human being? I think he probably is, but I have no interest in the cult of personality. I'm a pragmatist about it. When there's a candidate calling for serious electoral reform, and bringing the US into the first world policy-wise (universal single-payer healthcare, abolition of the death penalty, modern infrastructure, etc.) I'll start to think they really have my best interests at heart. Until that happens, I'm going to vote for the guy who at least has some policies that I think are good. I'm not looking for 100%, because I doubt I'll ever get it, and I think promising it is a set-up for bitter disappointment.

president. There's nothing democratic or compassionate in the way high level CEO's run big business. It's the nature of the beast. Profit of shareholders is their #1 priority. Do we want a president who's already proven himself, who clearly care about regular folks, and who has worked his butt off already to bring this economy back and implement a sensible foreign policy, or do we want the Party of Any Rand, the Party that mismanaged the country and wrecked the economy after 8 years of recklessness.
