We need to talk about "The Janes" HBO Documentary on abortion
This documentary is amazing. Perfect 100 on Rotten Tomatoes.
It is frightening. And inspiring. It is so upsetting to me that we are going backwards on abortion access. What these heroes did in Chicago in the early 1970s should be heralded by everyone. If you’ve seen it what did you think? If you haven’t seen it you should. It’s so well done.

1. It
was spectacular and inspiring and gives us a road map that I'm sure can be improved upon.

3. You will love it.
And be scared for what it means for our future in red state hells like Oklahoma.

4. One of the best documentaries I've seen.
I loved the matter-of-factness of the women that ran the operation with little concern for their own safety. They simply saw a problem that they were motivated to fix by whatever means necessary. Be sure to watch the stats shown at the end of how many women they helped in only a few years of running The Janes. Truly uplifting.
