Herschel Walker is tied or in the lead in the polls

Let that sink in. This lying idiot, for whom every day brings another embarrassing revelation, is probably going to beat an honorable, intelligent, caring man. This is why America is in trouble, the voters are fucking imbeciles.

The R is all that matters. They believe that the worst R in the world is better than any Democrat.

Walker can't put two coherent sentences together, but he is popular here in Georgia. Two reasons:

1-The R.

2-That championship season UGA had in 1980, of which Walker was a major part.

That is pretty much it. Not much else matters to the average Georgia voter, unfortunately.

It's early. How much more of Walker's incoherent babble will it take? I don't think that will last for long.

Or what a Senator does. I'm sure they'd think it just fine to have a former football player as a senator no matter who he was.

I don't think my experience is unique.

He doesn't pay much attention to politics but has learned the area pretty well. When we told him Walker was running, first he asked who he was (he isn't into sports either). Once he heard Walker is a Georgia grad he said, he'll win easily. All those suburban people who voted for Biden will say "Go Dawgs" and vote for an alum.

I hope that he is wrong, but it's a perspective.

Then I remember November 2020. Or others make me feel hopeful again.

If Walker is as dumb/cognitively damaged as he seems, I don't think it's too far a stretch to believe that at least a small portion of Georgia swing/independent voters will notice.

The majority of Americans. The Democrats are in charge of all 3 branches of the Federal government. Why is it so hard for everyone to understand that the average voter is going to vote against the Democrats in November???
