Ten inches of Snow
or
The flood waters are three feet deep
or anything at all remotely like that without telling us where you are.
Most of us don't live where you are, and it's helpful to have a context.

(1,453 posts)I agree. It isn't at all helpful to say that weather or whatever has just caused disruption to services without including where. We might have family in that area and would not otherwise know that something was going on. Some of us have older parents or family that live off the beaten track or alone and would want to know that they were experiencing a problem.
Otherwise it just looks like you crave attention.

(2,403 posts)I agree though there have been times when I am wondering if others are experiencing the same things.

I agree that often it would help to know location, even just the region, if some are not comfortable naming the their state. You know, like peeps in the witless protection program.
