Folks, let me be blunt. I don't want to "get" Donald Trump.

I'm not out for vengeance in order to feel good.

I'm out for CRIMINAL JUSTICE.

I want Trump to be prosecuted for crimes he's alleged to have committed if there's evidence for a prosecution.

I want him to have the legal presumption of innocence until convicted.

I want him to have a vigorous legal defense.

And if convicted, I want the sentence to be appropriate to the criminal statutes.

Needless to say, the same should apply to anyone else implicated.

That's criminal justice.

That's what we should all want.

7. I have some of the same feelings

Our criminal justice system is fucked up. These people use the current system to intimidate anyone who speaks against them and if that doesn't work, they will drag things out to make things so expensive that no one will take them to court. That's why Trump got away with stiffing contractors- even if the contractor could prove that they did what the contract demanded of them, the court costs would outweigh anything they could recover.

Trump attracts the worst of humanity because he is the worst of humanity. What happened on January 6th wasn't just something that happened overnight - it was years in the making. And the aftermath revealed who supports treason against the United States and who doesn't. You can't have a civilized discussion with people who want you dead.

The next thing i want to hear about him is that he has died in prison. He has destroyed far too much to be eligible for mercy. Is he eligible for Due process? Of course.
