NY gubernatorial candidate shares 'dirty words' he doesn't want in sex education classrooms

The late comedian George Carlin rose to fame in 1972 with his bit on "seven dirty words" you couldn't say on television.

On Tuesday — 50 years later — Republican gubernatorial hopeful Rob Astorino trotted out a list of dirty words that he believes shouldn't be taught in New York's schools.

Standing in front of Croton-Harmon High School, Astorino denounced the teaching of inappropriate sexual material in schools, at least without parental consent. He shared a photo of a whiteboard, from a health class at the high school, that showed a list of slang words for sex and sexual acts.

Astorino was especially bothered by the inclusion of the word "charizarding," which supposedly describes the use of fire during sex, saying that such an act would be criminal.

Parents were barely informed it was going to be taught, the supervision was inadequate, I think both sexes were taught in the same group, some of the males were informed years before and had precocious questions, and some were ignorant and none too pleased with the whole thing.

I think they can teach too early, they can teach too much, the instructors were not very prepared. I would hope they have better teaching materials today.

Terms? That's a new one on me too. Fire and sex? Like what, lighter fluid? Crazy, just crazy to teach that term and put ideas in kids' heads. IN my opinion.

A cigarette, not the part of the body still smoldering after it's been set on fire.
