Gas is over $5 a gallon right now.

The last time a barrel of crude oil cost this much was in July 2014.

At that point a gallon of gas only cost about $3.54.

Let’s be clear: Oil companies don’t need to be charging this much for gas. They’re just doing it to make excess profits.

Than JUST profits. It’s to make people hate Biden’s Admin, have GQP take control and make damn sure no damn Dems make them Pay taxes. They are taking in tons of cash to make their political choice. They use to have to bribe, pay out money to get their yes men elected. Now they are making tons by gauging at the same time promoting the leaders that will keep them from taxation. Win win.

7. 2014 was when Obama started killing lots of oil jobs

The price of oil dropped like a hot potato starting that summer as American oil production rose from fracking/shale. Punishing Obama's VP is a big part of it since they know idiots will blame green energy or drilling restrictions in national wildlife refuges or some BS like that.

i think he said oil is $118 barrel and last time it was two or three something a gallon (i was driving & trying to pay attention)
anyway, i think he said he thought these fucking oil companies should be hit with a windfall profits tax
