If you divvy it up on a linear annual basis, its the remaining half of a $1 billion broadcast contract.
Telling the advertisers "We're gonna show clips of Rudy Giuliani for free" probably won't cut it.

They can't breach their contracts with their advertisers and with the organizers to broadcast that event.

Foxs deal, which began in 2015, was reportedly worth more than US$1 billion and was due to run until 2026. NBC will now pick up the remaining seven years of the contract, which includes rights to all USGA events, with the financial renumeration for the organising body remaining the same for the duration of the agreement.
