fact, had he been doing the right thing all along, we'd all be complaining about this heat wave, and not the hearings on TV.

In positions of political trust doing the right thing is the floor not the ceiling.

Thanks for this post.

I know nothing about Dolly's sister, Stella. This tweet shows that she's much more knowledgeable about what's going on than just reading the cliff notes.

What a wonderful couple of woman - Stella and Dolly.

He exhorted viewers: "please do not canonize Mike Pence."

And it was for the same reasoning as in this tweet. Pence FINALLY stood up - at the bitter end. Which DOES make you wonder why he waited til now? Was it cowardice, or enlightened self-interest - based on a fear that trump would get rid of him and bring in some new rubber-stamper who'd willingly do what Pence finally decided he could not? I'd love for somebody to ask him that.
