(9,090 posts)when he was learning politics...... like all the young sex on the wrong brain college republicans that went on to plague democracy
he was right there in the picture and he's the kind of guy who's already or will soon be spilling beans

(53,936 posts)But he's not a real leader. He's a leech. Once Trump got his hands on real power, then the low profile right wing nuts who are lawyers instead of internet activists or going to make their way into the room and elbow the Millers and Bannons off to the side.

(35,619 posts)Miller was heading up some jerk off r-w organization that promotes lawsuits against leftie ideals.
I recall when I heard about it that it disgusted me because it was make work for r-w attorneys.
Dont know if it ever got off the ground.
Blue Owl, that was a good one. 😁

(32,074 posts)He's probably in the same camp as Barr and all the others who said this scheme wasn't going to work. They're fine with letting it go down, but they're not about to take any responsibility when it fails.

(32,074 posts)The first hearing focused on how the insurrection was planned, and not spontaneous, as Trump has claimed. The second one was all about Mike Pence, and how Trump's minions were out to kill him, Speaker Pelosi, and numerous others. There are more upcoming hearings, and the whole investigation is ongoing. I have little doubt Stephen Miller's name will be brought up in during at least one future hearing.
I also don't recall hearing Miller's name much after the election was determined. My guess is that he distanced himself from the whole plot the way Barr and others did, knowing that he stood a good chance of spending time in prison if he went along with it. He's a shitty person, but he's not stupid. Or, at least smart enough to understand when something is futile.
