DeSantis says Florida is 'affirmatively against' Covid-19 vaccines for young kids

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/06/16/desantis-covid-vaccine-florida-kids-fda-00040191

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday railed against providing Covid-19 vaccines to young children, saying Florida will not provide state programs to administer vaccinations for toddlers or infants.

DeSantis, speaking at a press conference in Miami, said that Covid-19 vaccines have not gone through enough testing and clinical trials to determine that they are effective and added that kids are least likely to suffer serious health consequences from Covid.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Mayo Clinic have emphasized that the Covid-19 vaccine is safe and has urged the public to get the shot to protect against the virus and prevent serious symptoms.

“I would say we are affirmatively against the Covid vaccine for young kids,” DeSantis said. “These are the people who have zero risk of getting anything.”

And sociopaths are made how they are. Think of how a kid who grows up in a war zone, a violent gang neighborhood or a freakishly abusive home would have to learn some scary lessons about survival that turns off his empathy. Most sociopaths need breaking in under stressful conditions over a period of time to turn off their empathy, so many of them are relatively normal as young children.

Psychopaths apparently have differently-wired brains that make them incapable of empathy from birth. The toxic versions are all extreme narcissists who have zero empathy, zero regard for consequences of their actions, and zero morality.

TFG would probably ace the Hare psychopathy test. I've read numerous stories about him being violent and destructive when he was a young child, like throwing rocks at an infant, or getting violent with a music teacher. During junior high, he tried to throw a classmate out of an upper story window.

These are all classic behaviors for a young psychopath. His behavior all of his life confirms what he is.

WTF IS WRONG WITH HIM

I just read this article:

https://www.science.org/content/article/what-causes-long-covid-three-leading-theories

They span three continents, but a trio of researchers who’ve never met share a singular focus made vital by the still-raging pandemic: deciphering the causes of Long Covid and figuring out how to treat it.

Almost 2 years ago in Italy, pediatric infectious disease doctor Danilo Buonsenso, who works at Gemelli University Hospital, started to see children who, months after mild infections with SARS-CoV-2, were still short of breath and had crushing fatigue and other symptoms. He now suspects that, in some of them, the cells and tissues that control blood flow are damaged and the blood’s tendency to clot is amplified. Minute blood clots, leftover from the viral assault or fueled by its aftermath, might be gumming up the body’s circulation, to disastrous effect from the brain to joints. “In some patients we have specific areas where no blood flow comes in” or the flow is reduced, Buonsenso says. Is that driving their lingering symptoms? “I can’t say this is the truth, of course. But this makes sense.”

...of DeSantis. They are predicated on whether we get out of this alive. In the previous sentence, the word "this" refers to the entire shitstorm we currently face. "This" includes Covid as a major factor, but it encompasses many other crises with which we are all familiar.

(1) If we get out of this, many PhD theses and popular books alike will be written about the death drive of Americans in the early 21st century and why it existed. Conversely...

(2) If we don't make it out alive, the aliens visiting the ruins of our civilization 50,000 years from now will dig through the radioactive rubble, find a newspaper quoting one of DeSantis' moronically insane antivax speeches, point to a photo of him, and say "you helped this happen!".

Possible reality #2 also applies to politicians who banned Medicare from negotiating prescription drug prices, among countless other acts of stupendous, unforgivable corruption.
