Adam Kinzinger, on the J6 Committee: Why so quiet so far ?

Maybe this has been asked already. I did a search, found nothing.

Why has Kinzinger been so quiet so far ? If he has spoken, I have missed it.

I've been fine with Liz Cheney using her abilities to savage Trump and his minions. Maybe Kinzinger will speak later ? We've heard from Zoe Lofgren and Pete Aguilar on the Democratic side (and maybe others I have missed).

Unless someone has other facts, I am guessing Kinzinger will speak later ?

I'm getting the impression that Chairman Thompson seems to have delegated the major topics to individual members which may be why we haven't heard much from him or others.

5. Certainly Cheney carries more weight, since she was the third in command in the GOP

So leaning on her makes sense. Zoe Lofgren is a seasoned prosecutor and she is really good. She also has a ton of seniority and was involved in four impeachments, so she brings a lot of gravitas. I think Bennie Thompson is leaning on the seasoned people because they're very good.

thinking about others on this committee. I think Schiff and Raskin will stay in the background as far as leading the sessions as they are targets of the RW. Others on the committee will each get their turn to be the "lead". It will be interesting to see who will be the leads in the next three sessions.

We've only had three so far. They're working through the members.

The same could be asked.

I am sure Kinzinger will get his time before the hearings are complete. So far, as best as I can recall, all of the witnesses have been Republicans. It's hard to scream "partisan witch hunt" when the people testifying against you are from your own Party.

the two co-chairs, Thompson and Cheney. His time has not yet come. Most of those who have led the questioning thus far are both lawyers and former prosecutors. Kinzinger is neither, but I'd expect him to be more active in one or more future sessions.

...and Kinzinger has already said he's not running again. But, that's just my own observation not really based on any inside information I may or may not have.
