Ted Lieu corrects Fox "News" ... Again

It’s just a few lawmakers like Ted between us a failed republic

This is what authoritarianism looks like: your vote doesn’t count.

I was a former state legislator. And NO, we did not have the authority to change electoral outcomes because we didn’t like the winner. Mark Levin and @FoxNews are simply wrong. This is America, not Russia.

Just as they love to point out that 75% of the democrats voted against the '64 civil rights act & the republicans voted FOR it. They ignore the massive party switch in the next 20 years

…wrote a book: “Men in Black: How the Supreme Court is Destroying America.”. (A title that is now true, but gnarled garden-gnome Levin will never admit to it.)

Published, of course, by Regnery Publishing, where conservatives go to have their shitty, money-losing shit-screeds published, ultimately destined for the bargain-bin out on the sidewalk.

lawyers in this Country, and I do know that there are a lot of damn fine people who are attorneys too. It's too bad that we have these idiots who claim that they have the nectar of the Gods in proclaiming various (and false) so called legal truths.

What's the legal basis for overturning the clear will of the people, as expressed in their preference for one candidate over another at the ballot box? Is "majority rules" some kind of woke nonsense that superior men like you are not bound to recognize or respect? What's your alternative to the proposition that the candidate who got 306 electoral votes wins over the candidate who got 232 electoral votes?

It would be interesting to see a case analyzing whether Levin and Fox are committing sedition by encouraging state legislators to overthrow the will of the people and to prevent the legal certification of the votes cast in a state. I would think the legislators who did such a thing would be guilty of sedition against government. Perhaps we need a DOJ public opinion issued before the 2022 elections.
