Harvard Law prof predicts former student Merrick Garland will criminally charge tfg (Tribe)

One of America's top constitutional experts said predicted that his former student, Attorney General Merrick Garland, would criminally charge Donald Trump for his attempted coup.

--snip--

"You don't have to go to law school to know that there's something seriously criminal about that. There are other crimes that have been proven, those are plenty to start with," Tribe said.

"Well, I mean, it's pretty incredible to hear you say that, I mean attempted murder," Burnett said. "Do you believe, Prof. Tribe, that Attorney General Merrick Garland will bring charges against Trump?"

"I think he will," Tribe replied.

"I don't think he will charge attempted murder, I was making that point to show, really, how extreme this was, that we can even talk about that shows how far from normal this all is," he explained.

"But I do believe, though he's doing it meticulously and not as quickly as some would like, that Merrick Garland will approve criminal charges against this [Trump]," Tribe predicted.

I agree with what he is saying completely. There will be a lot of unhappy people when tfg is not charged as soon as the public hearings are over but that is simply the way our legal system works... You have to be able to prove things in court.

But Trump probably won’t get indicted until very late 2022/early 2023.

To give the indicted underlings time to sweat a bit and contemplate plea deals…

I am expecting the come late Aug/early Sept, when the three seditious conspirators that have flipped get sentenced, that is when we will see the next round of indictments. If DOJ has all they need and have verified, the indictments will be issued and the sentencing will happen... If they need more time, they will delay and it gets bumped down the road two months. Once DOJ has what they need, indictments of the inner circle begins.

From there, they cycle kind of begins again. First thing is that those indicted will try a bit of delay... Maybe get a few months... Try some dismissal tactics/move venue tactics... Maybe another two months... Then someone (maybe more) will flip and plead guilty. DOJ begins gathering evidence, etc. etc. etc.

My guess at the moment is for tfg to be indicted sometime third quarter next year. Strictly a guess though... If Meadows jumps to flip real fast, it could easily be in your ballpark.

Without it being tainted as election year politics (not that FOX won’t portray it that way no matter when the indictments come).
