Of course they're booing him for pretending to do the bare minimum to address guns after Uvalde. Texas has a lot of very sick people.

5. A couple of days ago, Joe Scarborough claimed it was "urban legend" that

elected Republicans received pushback for attempting to do anything at all that could be perceived as "gun control".

This, on the heels of Chris Jacobs literally surrendering his Congressional seat in upstate NY (district where I grew up), when he talked about the idea of banning assault weapons, and then got absolutely bombarded with vicious threats and harassment.

8. If TX Republican conventions are anything at all like Dem...

conventions around here, it's the totally converted showing up. Voting exists, but it's pro forma, and any discussions are limited. That they dissed Cornyn sez something, but I'm not sure what it is.
