Fetterman v Oz

Domestic oligarchs are spending a ton of money on TV ads bashing John Fetterman. So far not one ad praising Oz.

5 months to go before the election and anti-Fetterman TV ads are filling the air waves in Pa.

Thom Hartman has it right, one of the main threats to our democracy is because we don't tax the rich. We have 400 billionaires in the US today and because of Citizens United they own politicians, they own and manage the MSM.

The #1 thing we can do to save our democracy is to tax the rich, other than jailing the insurrectionists.

spending bill, where money does not equal speech and corporations are not people. Then campaign contributions could be limited again. It's the only sneaky way I see other than waiting for a few RW judges to finally croak.

SCOTUS has ruled that corporations are entitled to the same constitutional protections as citizens and that money is equal to speech. Unless congress can pass a law that will change the courts interpretation we're fucked. The only other way to reverse non-united is to either pack the court or pass a law that proves to the court citizens is unconstitutional on the current grounds. The latter is a huge long shot. SCOTUS reversals are very very hard and rare unless as you say, some of these judges drop.

Only a SCOTUS decision reversing Citizens United or a Constitutional Amendment will fix this. With the current composition of the court and the current political environment, neither have any chance of happening.

The GOP primary isn't until August so the GOP candidates are bashing each other also.

Bringing up Thom Hartmann isn't helpful to Fetterman's cause IMO.

Polling data released by USA Today and Suffolk University on Wednesday showed the Democrat in the lead by 9 points against his Trump-backed opponent. The survey, which was conducted from June 10 to 13, had Fetterman at 46 percent, while Oz was at just 37 percent.

Fetterman's unpolished style and focus on economic issues perfect for PA and the current political climate.

Oz is an unlikeable phony with significant baggage, and is unlikely to attract swing voters in a swing state

Oz tweeted: ".@JohnFetterman is one of the most progressive candidates in the country."

I am not making this up! See the tweet for yourself:

As a dual citizen, will Oz always favor America over Turkey?

Oz cannot even spell his town in Penn.

Dr. Oz has gotten the name of his hometown wrong in his official statement of candidacy

Bet he can spell Istanbul.
