to produce more gasoline and thus bring down prices?
I read that part of the problem of high prices is that oil companies took some refineries off-line during the pandemic and have not brought them back on, which has kept production of gas low and prices high....
we can do it

(50,270 posts)tax deduction for installing solar panels for whatever real estate you own and a foolish rebate from the government if you buy an electric vehicle? We see fires in the west, draught and flooding in the same parts of the country, rising sea levels, etc. and it's caused by our destruction of the planet. Meanwhile, war and greed cause the fuel shortage that caused the billions of dollars of damage and lives lost from climate change. It's just crazy. Look up and the sun is hitting every rooftop. It's like pumping oil from the ground and not bothering to catch it.
