(53,214 posts)For him, apparently it is effortless. I've never seen anything quite like it. He might want to swear to never "dance" (if that's what you can call it), cite bible verses, hold hands with his wife, wear a tuxedo, meet the Queen, witness an eclipse, walk down a ramp, go to any foreign country, meet with world leaders, talk about science/weather/medicine, stand at a podium or sit on a chair, etc.

(21,286 posts)That's what I suspected and went looking for pictures of his bike. Sure enough--toe cages.
Couple weeks ago I dug my old bike out of storage to save a little on gas. Soon found out that it's pretty easy to get a foot stuck in the cage as one gets a little older.
I removed the cages and all is well now.

(18,497 posts)It is something you generally fail at a few times and fall over before you do it well.
I doubt his ego would permit that.
Can't you just see bratty 7 year old trump.
"I never wanted to ride a bike, anyway!"
Throws bike to ground.
Kicks bike.
"Stupid bike! I hate bikes. People who ride bikes are losers!"
But if he overheard a class mate talking about how fast they rode a bike.
Little dumpy would brag he could ride fasted.
If a classmate talked about building a ramp and jumping their bike.
Pathetic wind bag could jump farther if he wanted to.
He just doesn't want to.

(14,180 posts)Those pedal clips can be treacherous, too. Ive nearly fallen off stationary bikes because of my foot getting caught in them.
As for Trump, he looks like a beached whale, and as usual, he needs to just keep his fucking mouth shut (except for the cheeseburders).

(60,186 posts)Most bicycle makers are relieved they don't have to use the extra re-enforced titanium steel that would support Trump in the first place. Plus, he doesn't read well enough to understand the instruction manual. Those things have TWO pedals, after all. Kinda intricate for the likes of him.
