Joe Biden is the best President of my lifetime

He has either protected, preserved, or has worked to restore the following:

The Copper River and Bristol Bay, Alaska
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska
Tongass Rain Forest, Alaska
Chaco Canyon, New Mexico
Grand Staircase Esclante & Bears Ears, Utah
Boundary Waters, Minnesota
The Everglades, Florida
Obama's Atlantic Ocean’s Marine Monument
The Great Lakes
The Prairie Potholes, Prairie Wetlands, and glacial ponds in the upper Midwest and the Great Plains
I know I'm skipping some.

Biden Wants to Protect 30% of US Land by 2030.

Trump is just conning his rubes one more time. He will be either dead, bankrupt, in prison,
or in a rubber room drooling.

I can't decide what would be worse:

TFG running again and winning, or

TFG running again and losing. (His minions are causing a heap of damage after this loss.)

And if it wasn't for Russia and the electoral college (a hold over from slavery) he wouldn't have
"won" in 2016 either. He lost the popular vote in 2016 by 3 million and the popular vote in 2020
by 8 million. BTW I think in both cases he lost by even bigger margins too.

Obama imo was the best President this country had in at least 50 years. His years were transformative - especially for the LGBT community.

Who does not think they will see an ad of him tumbling off his bike? Ridicule is a powerful political tool.

I do not expect him to run in 2024. I expect he will make a full-throated endorsement of Kamala Harris and whomever she chooses as her running mate.

Depending on how the midterms go, he will make an announcement soon thereafter.

Also, I think Joe Biden has been a very good and an eventful president in just two years. It would be great if he were to run again but I do not expect it to happen.

Our own party keeps her in the rear and out of the press.

I really believe we need a leader from a younger generation to carry our party forward.

Seems every time Americans elect a Democratic president, that president has to deal with the mess left over from the Republican president that came before them.

And I have a REALLY had time discerning which of the messes is the most serious.

Surely, the attack on America led by TFG can be considered the most serious. But Congress and the DOJ are the ones dealing with that (which is as it should be).

FTR: I was born when LBJ was president.

I can praise each of the Democratic presidents since then for some things, and I have some criticisms for them when it comes to other things.

I used to work at a graduate school where a PhD in Decision Science was offered. Sometimes, the way to get to a decision is to rank the considerations that are in play, and act accordingly. I have a hard time ranking the considerations (social justice, economics, foreign relations, climate change,...).

I'd have an easier time picking a "best" if I could sort this stuff out in my own head.

Are the protections on your list just since he was president?

It would be interesting, and lengthy, to list his lifetime achievements in this regard.

Thanks for sharing!

The wetlands and the prairie potholes in the Midwest and Great Plains not only provide critical
habitat, fix carbon, and they can recharge some of the aquifers such as the Ogallala Aquifer.

Joe is getting really good input from smart people.

BTW the areas protected are a gift to our great grandkids.
