Planned parenthood of WI has announced it will suspend abortions after June 25.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin has announced it will suspend abortions after June 25th.

After that, the organization says it will direct patients to out of state facilities or work with them to find alternative care.

PPW says the reason for this is because of the awaited Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade, saying it could disrupt abortion care if it is overturned.

That decision is expected later this month.

And what's scary is that it's not the most corrupt state out there.

Have you ever taken a look at Louisiana politics?

Don't. Even here in Texas, we're shocked at how corrupt LA is.

For my flight from Texas when my mom dies. The sooner I don't have to deal with 4 or more months of 100+, the happier I'll be. My native Californian husband wasn't sold on a move north, until I told him he'd have ample opportunities to wear his beloved flannel shirts. That got him firmly on board with the idea of moving to a northern blue state. Plus, the novel idea of seasons. He's never known what those were like.

However...

I couldn't believe it when I told mom the plan to move north, and she was actually dumb enough to say, well, your heating costs will be crazy in winter. WTF? AC bills in Texas? HELLO! She was screaming at me only the week before about her bill being $450. And she's old, so she keeps it set at 82.

I don't care about the heating bills or flannel. I love the cold, and seasons, too. So we're moving north, and Illinois is definitely a contender for where we end up.
