Does anybody here know how many of the fake electors are Republican State legislators?

Mail fraud is against the law in and itself but forging documents for the sake of a coup de ta even if they didn't know their role in the bigger plan is still illegal.

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

Does that include state officeholders? Maybe we need a constitutional scholar to weigh in on that.

I do know that some of them are currently running for office.
