I mean, I know it's Eric Greitens.
Anyone who knows anything about this sick creature knows this is par for the course.
But even so, this is still just apeshit bonkers.

GOP Candidate Fantasizes About Murdering Political Opponents in New Ad
Eric Greitens is dispensing with any subtlety as he seeks former President Trumps endorsement
By RYAN BORT
The Jan. 6 committee has, for the past few weeks, been reminding Americans about the horrifying war scene that unfolded during the attack on the Capitol. Some conservatives are ignoring the panels findings and dismissing the hearings as a distraction. Others are doubling down on political violence. Eric Greitens, a scandal-ridden Republican running for Senate in Missouri, released an ad on Monday advocating for hunting RINOs, or Republicans In Name Only, a term for conservatives who havent veered far enough to the right.
The ad is not subtle. It isnt even metaphorical. It features Greitens and an armed military team breaking into a house to execute Republicans who dont sufficiently support former President Trump. Join the MAGA crew, Greitens says. Get a RINO-hunting permit. Theres no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesnt expire until we save our country.
Greitens is no stranger to gun-laden campaign ads. During his 2016 campaign for governor, he released a spot of himself unleashing hell with an automatic Gatling gun. Greitens won that election but resigned two years later amid scandals ranging from allegations of sexual misconduct to felony charges for using a veterans charity list to raise campaign cash. He thinks hes still fit for federal office, however, running this year to replace retiring Sen. Roy Blunt. Hes still mired in scandal, too. His ex-wife in March accused him of physically abusing their children, taking away her belongings, threatening her on multiple occasions, and threatening to kill himself if she didnt stand by him as he was trying to whether his past scandals.
Guns have been a fixture of Republican campaign ads ahead of the midterm elections, with several candidates implying they should be used to kill people. Blake Masters, the venture capitalist who recently landed former President Trumps endorsement for Senate in Arizona, said in an ad that the Second Amendment isnt about duck hunting. Janice McGeachin, who lost the Republican primary for governor in Idaho despite Trumps endorsement, similarly said in an ad that the Second Amendment isnt about bird hunting. But Greitens isnt leaving the actual purpose of the Second Amendment to the imagination. He made abundantly clear in his campaign ad on Monday that its about executing those with opposing political views.

All of y'all calling on the GOP to shame Greitens out of the race underestimate both Greitens and the GOP.
McConnell needs seats, and Greitens could kill a woman and wear her head like a hat and they'd support him until the last.
Shame is so 2014.

(1,053 posts)One of the first hints I had that the Repub party had lost control was well before TFG. I was watching a clip of John McCain walking through his crowd after a speech in 2008. A woman was screaming Obama is a Muslin (sic)!
The LOOK on his face said it all. He said something like "No, you're wrong. Senator Obama and his family are long standing members of a Christian church." Did not deter her one bit.
They created this Frankenstein monster and now clearly they all know they must go along with all the kookiness or else they'll be labeled RINO, apparently not just an acronym but a real reference to a hunter's dream kill.
Scary shit indeed.

(17,425 posts)figure these people out.
When I was very young, like 10-11 years old, I went through a political phase where I collected campaign buttons. They fascinated me. I had hundreds of them on my bedroom wall, mounted on a piece of fabric. I didn't understand politics at all, but I do remember my parents telling me that "Democrats are more for the working people, and Republicans are more for businesses".
This was in the late 60's. In other words, it wasn't terrible to be a Republican. Whether you were a Democrat or Republican kind of boiled down to your self-interest in which policies suited you better.
These days, it's more like "normal" vs. "insane".
Brenda
(1,053 posts)About the normal vs insane thing.
I just googled a bit and can't find the specific incident I remember but the search results are saturated with the one you posted. There's probably many more like that one which is bad enough, right?
But just think, that was 14.5 years ago they were saying that crap to R's who grabbed the mic and said, um, no, you dumbshit, that is not true.
Then came the orange fat ass and no R's dare disagree with reality.

(10,167 posts)"amid accusations of sexual misconduct and campaign finance violations." Despite this, Greitens is the leading Republican primary candidate to replace retiring Senator Roy Blunt.
"On Monday, new court filings revealed that Greitenss now ex-wife, Sheena Chestnut Greitens, accused the governor of physically abusing her and one of their children."
'Prior to our divorce, during an argument in late April 2018, Eric knocked me down and confiscated my cell phone, wallet, and keys so that I was unable to call for help or extricate myself and our children from our home...I became afraid for my safety and that of our children at our home.' She went on to describe how Greitenss 'behavior included physical violence toward our children, such as cuffing our then-3-year-old son across the face at the dinner table in front of me and yanking him around by his hair.'
"The latest accusations are a consistent addition to the ongoing Greitens narrative. In 2018, the details of his sexual misconduct were graphic and violent. The unnamed Greitens accuser said he forced her into a 'bear hug,' stopped her from leaving his basement, and made him give her oral sex while she was 'uncontrollably' crying."

(3,578 posts)So now Twitter put a warning that it broke Twitter rules but if you click on it you can still see it.
The trick is to report him for "celebrating or praising violent acts" because the nutcakes at Twitter thinks "threatening violence" is only important against a "protected class"
So now he's being mass reported to the FBI.
Some people think TWEETING at the FBI helps.
It does not. They ignore that, and rightly so.
You must either call them or file an official report.
