I don't know how you feel. For me, all the years I had to listen, put up with Trump voters bullshit.

Pay back time is approaching. When people are indicted, when they all go down, I will no longer ignore Trump voters bullshit, be nice, put up with the bullshit of the Trump voters I know. I will no longer debate or attempt to reason with them.

I am going to tell them exactly what I think of them. I am going to tell the truth. I am going to bury them with the truth. I am going to unleash truth hell upon them. The Trump voters I know are going to fear me. They will turn the other way when they see me coming.

We have been putting up with their delusional bullshit, lies, for at least 5 years. I for one, have had enough. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I am not every going to forget or forgive what they have done.

On Jan 6th, every Trump voter in our country lost everything. Their honor, their dignity, respect, you name it and they lost it.

They could wrap themselves in a hundred American flags, cry to the heavens they are true Americans, it would mean nothing.

Can you tell I am a little pissed off with the Trump voters?

It doesn’t ever go well.
We finally agreed to no political talk.
Life was a better that way.

I cut out friends right away, however, I did not cut out some family members, because I like them, I tried to reason with them. When the shit hits the fan , that will change. Unless they change. Like I said, Trump voters have lost everything.

I 'think' most of these types of people were these 'types' of people since childhood.

I wrote 'think' because I only know one RW/fuxnews/anti-liberal person in my family. That's not a good sample size. The rest of us are "normal".

I did have a couple of trumper friends but dropped them back in 2020. I could never just not talk political with them and get along ok. Every time I saw them I would be reminded of just how stupid they are, how easily duped they are, the total lack of morality that they have, as evidenced by supporting such a bigot nazi. Their true colors would obscure the person that I thought they were. Ignoring that just would never work for me.

I don’t have Trumper friends but I do have relatives sucked into the cult. I have to get along and we now avoid political talk and that works on that level.

But deep down my perception of them is forever altered. If they can fall for such an obvious scam artist, and such a vile arrogant narcissist on top of it, I have to come to the conclusion that they are not too bright, and/or actually believe in the same dark views

I'm sure there must be a few Americans Abroad who did vote for him, and live closer to me than that, but if so, I have had the good fortune never to have met them, and will make no efforts to do so. The only Americans at all that I know living anywhere near here are all members of the Democrats Abroad Germany (DAG), and though I haven't run a census, my guess would be that no Trump voters are among them.

Open-minded == liberal, willing to accept others' viewpoints (at least listen).

A good sign of a small/closed mind is "America, love it or leave it."

But very probably a majority of those who live abroad, in spite of the unfair tax disadvantage we are burdened with. You 'd have to wall yourself into a compound to have no contact with the world around you, and almost no one does.

When one looks at the flights and airlines that fly into a city, it gives a good indication of how open the place will be to the rest of the world. Texas may have Abbott, Cruz and Cornyn, but it also has Wendy Davis and Beto, and the Dallas airport has many direct flights coming in from all over Asia, Europe and the Middle East as well as Australia. It's not an accident that Texas had about 5.3 million votes for Biden in the last election (even Trump didn't get 6 million).

As with Nixon after he resigned in disgrace, they won't ever think of Trump again, and they'll deny ever having supported him. The hatred, racism and evil will remain, though. That never goes away.
